Rachel Hamilton is a graduate of Northwestern University, an alumna of The Second City, Chicago, and is a director, performer and an Emmy-nominated writer. Rachel cut her teeth in the Chicago Improv scene, sharing the stage with geniuses like Tina Fey, Amy Poehler, Rachel Dratch, and the wonderful and amazing Ms. Sam Bennett herself.
Rachel has a great depth of experience teaching the joys of Improv to all kinds of people; newbies and experts, actors and civilians, the confident and the terrified..and she feels strongly that every human being can benefit from studying this heart-opening, life-expanding, ridiculously fun art form. Rachel approaches Improv as an amazing tool for everyone seeking to feel more present, more alive and more joyful.
She feels passionately that Improv Skills = Life Skills and that Improv is a superb tool to safely practice Saying Yes and Taking Risks and to have a blast doing it.
Rachel teaches, directs and performs all over the country and makes her home in Mill Valley, California with her ridiculously adorable Cockapoo, Marty.
